Washing your face with apple cider vinegar works to treat acne, wrinkles, and fine lines.

Who would have thought…vinegar for your face!  Well, not just vinegar, but organic high-quality apple cider vinegar.

It is amazing the healing properties of organic apple cider vinegar. It is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal so it works well to fight skin problems.

Many people seem concerned about the effects of aging, however, they don’t have any knowledge about what they can do about it. There are many things that can enhance anti-aging solutions.

I have determined six general areas that if we practice on a habitual basis can slow the aging process by a good measure. Don’t get excited, even if some sound minor, I will give you more details right here. Get primed, here they come!

The six areas are: spend time with friends, stay active by getting some exercise, obtain a pair of big sunglasses, buy foods that are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, eat colorful foods daily, adjust your beliefs about being old.

As promised, I will go into the sense in more detail why these 6 hacks work.

Make some quality time with friends… Very often we find that our hectic schedules cause us to neglect our social life. Having a social life, however, may contribute lots of ways to better aging. Research shows that our being stressed can cause damage to skin cells, leading to premature lines in your face. One of the benefits of spending time with friends is it help us lower our stress threshold. Your immune system can also be compromised by increased stress, increasing your chances for illness. Not good amigo!

Old Can Just Be A State of Mind… The word “old” can certainly mean different things to different people depending on their circumstances. After all, who gets to decide what the right definition of old is in the first place. If you have a positive attitude thinking young will give you a real step in the right direction. Don’t go around worrying about so called “senior moments” or limitations you might have. Many of these things can be reversed with some simple steps. By dwelling on things as negative they eventually become your reality. Focus on what you are currently capable of and work toward solving the rest with what you can learn here on this website. Just remember, age is simply a number.

Get Some Movement in Your Day… It’s quite well established that as you get older your metabolism gets slower. If you will find about 30 minutes each day for some vigorous action, you can increase your metabolism and also help increase the density of your bones, thus decreasing the potential for bone injuries as you age. Doing some simple resistance exercises and going on a fast-paced hike around the neighborhood are a couple of great ways to retard that old aging mechanism. Make yourself a plan for that right now and you’ll notice changes rapidly!

Purchase a large pair of sunglasses… By wearing the larger glasses, you will ultimately insulate more of the very sensitive thin skin around your eyes from the harmful sun’s UV rays. In addition, the larger shades will help you to not squint as much, thus helping to reduce not only wrinkles around the eyes but also on your forehead.

Eat Natural Foods with Lots of Color… Many of the foods found at your local supermarket are known to speed up aging. It’s too bad but lots of people don’t know that there are also many foods that have the opposite effect. Fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, kale, oranges, plums, strawberries, and blueberries to name a few. They are all full of antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins that are great for contributing to healthy aging. Some of the nutrients you will find in these foods are carotenoids (like these: vitamin A, B-carotene, retinol, astaxanthin, and lycopene), and alpha lipoic acid. You will also find polyphenols, glutathione, CoQ10 and vitamins such as D, E, and C.

Consume more foods that have been proven to provide high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids… Ohio State University stated in a research study that by increasing these types of foods into your diet, you can see positive results with your joints, increased hair growth, better eyesight, more supple skin, and improvement to your immune and cardiac functions. Some of the foods to look at would be different types of seeds such as pumpkin, chia, flax, and sunflower. Also try some nuts, sardines, and other fatty fish such as salmon. Fish oil supplements can also be a choice but make sure you look for a product with a quality reputation since they can vary in quality immensely.
