Eat These 7 Foods to Naturally Cleanse Your Liver!

Since your liver is one of the most important organs to maintain good health, you need to naturally cleanse your liver by eating certain foods.

Your liver is a vital organ that performs functions only it can do. Things like producing and secreting bile into the digestive system, and helping to metabolize proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

More important than even those functions is the liver’s ability to filter our blood and remove things like harmful toxins which we all know we get invaded with on a daily basis. In order to do this function efficiently, we need to make sure our liver continues to function at peak strength.

The way we do that is to make sure we eat certain foods which contain the proper nutrients to boost the health of the liver organ. Things like citrus fruits, including oranges, lemons, limes, and more. These citrus fruits provide vitamin C and antioxidants, both of which help the liver to detoxify our bodies

Apples are another terrific food to help maintain tip liver function due to the fact that apples contain pectin which the liver uses to stay clean and healthy. Salads are another key food to eat regularly with all those fresh greens since they contain chlorophyll which helps with bile production and gives us more energy.

Purchase a large pair of sunglasses… By wearing the larger glasses, you will ultimately shield more of the very sensitive thin skin around your eyes from the devastating sun’s UV rays. In addition, the larger shades will help you to not squint as much, thus helping to scale down not only wrinkles around the eyes but also on your forehead.

Get Some Movement in Your Day… It’s quite well established that as you get older your metabolism gets slower. If you will find about 30 minutes each day for some vigorous action, you can increase your metabolism and also help increase the density of your bones, thus decreasing the potential for bone injuries as you age. Doing some simple resistance exercises and going on a fast-paced hike around the neighborhood are a couple of great ways to retard that old aging mechanism. Make yourself a plan for that right now and you’ll notice changes rapidly!

Spend time with your friends… Oftentimes we find our schedules to be so hectic that we
neglect to make time for a social life. However, having a social life can help you age better in
many ways. The biggest thing making time for friends will accomplish is lowering your stress
level. Studies have shown that being stressed out damages your skin cells, which leads to
premature lines. Stress can also lower your immune system leading you to a more likely chance
of becoming ill. Yuck!

Eat Food That is High in Omega-3 Fatty Acids… A study done by Ohio State University shows these foods can help everything from your joints, eyesight, and hair growth to making your skin look supple and improving your heart and immune functions. You can increase your intake of foods such as seeds, nuts, sardines, or salmon. If you want to take a supplement, fish oil capsules are a good choice. Make it a high-quality product however.

Old Can Just Be A State of Mind… The word “old” can certainly mean different things to different people depending on their circumstances. After all, who gets to decide what the right definition of old is in the first place. If you have a positive attitude thinking young will give you a real step in the right direction. Don’t go around worrying about so-called “senior moments” or limitations you might have. Many of these things can be reversed with some simple steps. By dwelling on things as negative they eventually become your reality. Focus on what you are currently capable of and work toward solving the rest with what you can learn here on this website. Just remember, age is simply a number.

Eat a lot of colorful fruits and vegetables for anti-aging… Some really good examples of these foods that slow down and even reverse aging are strawberries, oranges, plums, blueberries, kale and broccoli. They are all chock full of super nutrients like CoQ10, polyphenols, glutathione, along with vitamins C, D and E. Other powerful nutrients are alpha lipoic acid and carotenoids such as (B-carotene, vitamin A, astaxanthin, retinol, and lycopene). We also know there are many nasty foods all over the supermarket that contribute to the aging process. You want to avoid these like the plague. Shop the out isles and avoid as many of the prepackaged foods as you can.
