The best intermittent fasting schedule for you is something you can determine both by how you feel and what you decide.

In this video, Yuri talks about two different fasting schedules that he alternates over the course of a week. However, he talks about how you have to adapt the schedules to what suits you.

Fasting has been proven to have some really good health benefits but it is something that is somewhat personal depending on your metabolism and willpower.

Many people think of fasting as something you do for days. That is not what we are talking about here. In fact, the first schedule he talks about is split 16 and 8. The 16 hours is without food and then eating regularly during the other 8 hours.

The other schedule he discusses is a full 24 hours fast but if you can only go 16 to 18 hours that fine. Also, it is only done 1 day a week.

I think once you listen to the video you will see that the fasting he is talking about is very doable.

Spend time with your friends… Oftentimes we find our schedules to be so hectic that we
neglect to make time for a social life. However, having a social life can help you age better in
many ways. The biggest thing making time for friends will accomplish is lowering your stress
level. Studies have shown that being stressed out damages your skin cells, which leads to
premature lines. Stress can also lower your immune system leading you to a more likely chance
of becoming ill. Yuck!

Old Can Just Be A State of Mind… The word “old” can certainly mean different things to different people depending on their circumstances. After all, who gets to decide what the right definition of old is in the first place. If you have a positive attitude thinking young will give you a real step in the right direction. Don’t go around worrying about so called “senior moments” or limitations you might have. Many of these things can be reversed with some simple steps. By dwelling on things as negative they eventually become your reality. Focus on what you are currently capable of and work toward solving the rest with what you can learn here on this website. Just remember, age is simply a number.

Get Some Movement in Your Day… It’s quite well established that as you get older your metabolism gets slower. If you will find about 30 minutes each day for some vigorous action, you can increase your metabolism and also help increase the density of your bones, thus decreasing the potential for bone injuries as you age. Doing some simple resistance exercises and going on a fast-paced hike around the neighborhood are a couple of great ways to retard that old aging mechanism. Make yourself a plan for that right now and you’ll notice changes rapidly!

Invest in a pair of large sunglasses…The larger glasses safeguard more of the delicate thin skin around your eyes where we first get wrinkles. They will also prevent you from squinting as much, therefore, reducing both wrinkles around your eyes but also your forehead.

Eat a lot of colorful fruits and vegetables for anti-aging… Some really good examples of these foods that slow down and even reverse aging are strawberries, oranges, plums, blueberries, kale and broccoli. Other powerful nutrients are alpha lipoic acid and carotenoids such as (B-carotene, vitamin A, astaxanthin, retinol, and lycopene). Shop the out isles and avoid as many of the prepackaged foods as you can.
