Solution Found For Chronic Pain

Sometimes you have to find just the right doctor to find a solution to your chronic pain.

This video is mostly a testimonial for Dr. John Bergman’s office but I found it to be very helpful because the story the woman tells about her diagnosis hit me right between the eyes…and this is why.

I have had chronic back pain for many years and when she said how Dr. Bergman and asked her about an old neck injury bells went off in my head. I had suffered a severe neck injury years ago and just like her I never would have tied it into the chronic lower back pain.

At least now I understand that could be where the underlying problem originated.

One thing for sure, do not get hooked on opiates. We all have seen and read about the epidemic tide of people in the US getting addicted to opiates. One of the largest drug problems these days. Avoid them like the plague.

Many folks are worried about aging effects, although most don’t have any idea what steps to do for anti-aging. There are many things that can enhance anti-aging solutions.

There are six major life factors that when done every day can really slow aging symptoms. Don’t get your panties in a wad, even though some may look trivial I will expound on them with more detail shortly. I hope you’re set for this!

The six areas are: spend time with friends, stay active by doing some exercise, buy a pair of big sunglasses, buy foods that are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, eat colorful foods often, adjust your thoughts about being old.

Now then, as stipulated, the specifics to help these make more sense.

Consume more foods that have been proven to provide high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids… Ohio State University stated in a research study that by increasing these types of foods into your diet, you can see positive results with your joints, increased hair growth, better eyesight, more supple skin, and improvement to your immune and cardiac functions. Some of the foods to look at would be different types of seeds such as pumpkin, chia, flax, and sunflower. Also try some nuts, sardines, and other fatty fish such as salmon. Fish oil supplements can also be a choice but make sure you look for a product with a quality reputation since they can vary in quality immensely.

Purchase a large pair of sunglasses… By wearing the larger glasses, you will ultimately protect more of the very sensitive thin skin around your eyes from the harmful sun’s UV rays. In addition, the larger shades will help you to not squint as much, thus helping to lower not only wrinkles around the eyes but also on your forehead.

Put some vigorous step in your day… I think we all know that as we get older our metabolism starts to slow down. That doesn’t have to be the case. If you will find about a half hour each day for an activity that gets you moving some, you can not only increase your metabolism but even increase your bone density. This will go a long way in helping to prevent a bone injury in your future. These activities can be as simple as taking a nice fast walk and /or doing some resistance type exercises that you can perform almost anywhere. They will definitely help slow down that aging process. Make a plan for doing that now and you will be looking younger in no time.

Spend time with your friends… Oftentimes we find our schedules to be so hectic that we
neglect to make time for a social life. However, having a social life can help you age better in
many ways. The biggest thing making time for friends will accomplish is lowering your stress
level. Studies have shown that being stressed out damages your skin cells, which leads to
premature lines. Stress can also lower your immune system leading you to a more likely chance
of becoming ill. Yuck!

Eat Natural Foods with Lots of Color… Many of the foods found at your local supermarket are known to speed up aging. It’s too bad but lots of people don’t know that there are also many foods that have the opposite effect. Fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, kale, oranges, plums, strawberries, and blueberries to name a few. They are all full of antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins that are great for contributing to healthy aging. Some of the nutrients you will find in these foods are carotenoids (like these: vitamin A, B-carotene, retinol, astaxanthin, and lycopene), and alpha lipoic acid. You will also find polyphenols, glutathione, CoQ10 and vitamins such as D, E, and C.

Change your concept of what old means… Depending on the context, the word old can have many different meanings. Stay positive about yourself and don’t knock yourself down dwelling on what people have defined as “senior moments”. Also don’t get upset that you can’t necessarily do everything the way you used to. Some of that is simply a reality of life. However, you can think positively about what you can do and there are ways to reverse some of the things you may see as negative. Keep watching the videos on this website and you will find some good information related to many anti-aging topics. Besides, who gets to determine what the real definition of old is anyway! Only you can decide that for yourself and take the actions that will help you age gracefully and even slow the process down considerably. After all, isn’t age really just a number?
